Dear Readers,
My name is Alisha. I am a 37 year old wife, mother of three girls and a TON of animals, homemaker and simply a good down to earth person. I decided to start a blog because I need a place to write down my thoughts, ideas, recipes and inspirations. I thought about doing a casual handwritten journal of which I have started many in the past. You name it…bullet journal, scrapbooking journal, clutter type journals. I never would stick to the repetitiveness of keeping it up. Eventually, it would turn out to be like most things I do… another thing I tried. I have an ADHD type of personality. I get bored with the same things fast. So why did I start a blog? I want to share my trials, errors, and successes. I love to see people enjoy my work or gain knowledge from my errors. I feel a blog is the perfect way to do this. It’s out for the world to see. I can take a break if I want. I can jump from one project to the next. I can do all this while sharing it all in hopes that my experiences help others. There must be someone else besides me who finds all of life’s everyday adventures interesting. I hope they find these experiences as captivating as I do.
I think I have come to a time in my life that I want…well NEED to start a routine I want something I will stick to finally. I believe writing a blog will help me. Others can read about my experiences, which will keep me from limiting it to myself and close family and friends. I will become more encouraged to write and stick to it. I find myself a very interesting person actually but I live in a small town and sometimes I feel stuck. I have so much knowledge and learned experiences with crafting, cooking, homemaking, animal keeping, and Christian life. I feel compelled to share these with more than just a few people. I want to share it with the world. If the things I do interest me so much, why wouldn’t they interest many others in the world?
If you’re still reading, and I hope you are, I think you will find my life experiences interesting and knowledgeable. What makes me different then other bloggers? Well, for one I am my own person and my experiences are not like any others. Sure, many others have made butter from scratch and blogged about it, but not a person like “me”. I am a genuine true-hearted, caring, kind, loving person. There is only one person like “me” and that’s ME.
